What this site collects

Contact form: your name, email address, message, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number and the vehicle you are interested in. We use these to reply to you. Newsletter signup: only your email address, which we use to send you updates. The cookie banner records your cookie choice on your device. This website does not store Social Security numbers, card details, bank or routing numbers, wallet credentials, or a signature.

Credit apps and payments

• Official credit application: Jotform.
• Online payments are completed on the secure page of the payment provider selected at checkout. The provider—not this website—collects financial details.

Customers who purchase a vehicle

If you purchase a vehicle from The Carlot, your account — including your notes, payment history, and related records — may be disclosed to, assigned to, or transferred to a third-party financing source, purchaser, assignee, or servicer as part of arranging or completing that financing. Every note, date, and payment on your account carries over unchanged to that company. At the time of purchase, you sign a paper disclosure acknowledging this before any such disclosure, assignment, or transfer of your account takes place. This description is general; the specific terms of your financing agreement control.

Calls, texts, and emails

If you apply or contact us, we may call, text, or email the contact information you give about your request, vehicle interest, appointment, documents, and related account or financing next steps.
